CAMBRIDGE ASSESSMENT INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION (CAIE) RESULT 2023-24
We are proud to announce the remarkable achievements of our students in the recent CAIE (Cambridge Assessment International Education) exams, where they have excelled tremendously. Our students secured an impressive 127 A* grades, a reflection of their exceptional dedication and hard work. Additionally, 168 A grades have been secured, further demonstrating their academic excellence. Collectively, the percentage of A* and A grades achieved stands at an impressive 60%. This outstanding success highlights the unwavering commitment of our students and the relentless efforts of our devoted teaching staff. We are also pleased to share that many students from Senior OL II, who achieved A* and A grades across the board, have qualified for the prestigious “BASS Scholarship.” This scholarship is a fitting acknowledgment of their outstanding academic performance and dedication to excellence. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Allah Almighty for these extraordinary achievements and for guiding our students toward success. This accomplishment reflects our enduring commitment to fostering academic brilliance and nurturing young minds. Congratulations to all our students, their parents, and our dedicated teachers on this well-deserved achievement. Special Academic Achievement Award (SA3) (2023-24)
On Thursday, 5th September 2024, a special ceremony was held to honor the dedication of our exceptional teachers. The esteemed Administrator of BASS awarded the prestigious SA3 shield to recognize the tireless efforts of our teaching staff. This award is a testament to the faculty’s commitment to excellence and is a source of immense pride for the school. Among the distinguished recipients were Ms. Safia Bano for Urdu, Ms. Hira Farman for Chemistry and Mr. Faheem for Mathematics, all of whom earned distinctions. This recognition stands as a proud moment for BASS faculty.
Independence Day Celebration (2024-25)
On Wednesday, 14th August 2024, our BASSians celebrated Independence Day with great patriotism and enthusiasm in the Senior Section Assembly area. The day was filled with a profound sense of gratitude for the sacrifices made by our ancestors, reinforcing the notion that patriotism is not just an emotion, but a driving force for the nation’s progress. The celebration ended with the distribution of sweets to all students and staff, marking the occasion with joy and unity.
Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony (APDC 2023-24)
The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony (APDC) for the academic session of 2023-24 took place on Friday, 31st May 2024, at Serena Marquee leaving an indelible impression on our BASSians. This grand event celebrated the star achievers from OL I to SNR OL I. Shields and certificates were awarded to the top achievers of each class and special shields were presented to the Best Subject Teachers and Class Teachers. The memories of this special occasion will continue to inspire our students to reach greater heights and contribute positively to the world. High achievers of the CAIE exams were also honored with Gold Medals and two of them shared their experiences and cherished memories of BASS. It was a day of celebration and inspiration that will resonate for years to come.
Farewell Party for Senior OL-III Students
A heartfelt farewell Party was organized for the Senior OL-III students as they embarked on the next chapter of their lives. The event was filled with warmth and reflection, where students and teachers came together to celebrate the memorable journey they shared. It was an emotional yet joyous occasion as students were bid a fond goodbye, marked by touching speeches, laughter and shared memories. The farewell lunch served as a reminder of the bonds formed and the legacy left behind and it provided a befitting conclusion to their time at BASS.
International Kangaroo Linguistic Contest (IKLC ) Acknowledgement Ceremony (2024).
A momentous event of Acknowledgement Ceremony of IKLC – 2023 was organized on Wednesday, 21st February, 2024 as our students from BASS achieved outstanding success in the International Kangaroo Linguistic Contest (IKLC – 2023). With the blessings of Allah Almighty, our students accomplished a remarkable feat, earning 27 Gold, 02 Silver, and 18 Bronze Medals, as well as numerous 1, 2, and 3-star badges. Their exceptional performance not only brought i mmense pride to their families and the school but also highlighted the dedicated support of their teachers and parents. Moreover; our school, Beacon Askari O Level School stood 2nd amongst top 9 chosen schools across Pakistan & Principal of O Level Campus (Syed Junaid Ali) was honoured with the “Most Inspiring Educator Award.” Similary, HM- JOL (Syeda Sadaf Kazmi) recevied the “William Blake Award” which is one-of-a-kind award across Pakistan. All of this was made possible by the efforts of our BASSians and talented faculty.
IUSS- Debate Competition (2024).
On Thursday, 15th February, 2024, Iqra University held a debate competition that brought together students from several prestigious schools in Karachi. Despite intense competition, Urwah Fatima, representing Senior OL II A from our school, displayed exceptional debating skills and won first place. Her remarkable performance earned her a prestigious 1st position with winning shield and an appreciation certificate. This achievement not only demonstrates Urwah’s eloquence but also reflects the dedication and abilities of our school’s debate team on an admirable platform.
A2Z Champs Art & Creative Writing Competition 2023 (Season 2).
On Thursday, 4th January, 2024, a celebratory event was held at O Level Campus to honour the successful participation of our talented students in the A2Z Champs Art & Creative Writing Competition 2023 (Season 2). Our BASSians secured the Grand position with winning PS-5 and a commendable 4th position, bringing glory to our school and also winning cash prizes. Moreover, our campus was honoured to receive the “Best Participation” award, accompanied by another cash prize. In this prestigious national-level competition, our students won a total of 9 Gold, 15 Silver, and 8 Bronze Medals, showcasing their exceptional creativity. This achievement is a true testament to the dedication and excellence of our students, and we are proud to share this moment of success with you.
7th Mega Debate Competition – Cadet College Karachi (2023-24).
The 7th Mega Debate Competition at Cadet College Karachi on Monday, 8th January, 2024, witnessed outstanding participation, with our beloved BASSian M. Umer from Snr OL I securing a remarkable 2nd Position in the English category. M. Umer’s eloquence and debating skills shone brightly, earning him a prestigious shield and an appreciation certificate. This achievement reflects not only his individual prowess but also highlights the commitment to excellence within our student community.
SPECIAL ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARD (SA3 OL) AUG-23
A wonderful ceremony took place on Wed, 30th Aug, 2023 to honor the tireless dedication of our appearing teachers. During this event, the esteemed Administrator of BASS bestowed upon our teachers the prestigious SA3 shield for producing outstanding CAIE results (2023). Receiving SA3 shield and cash rewards is a remarkable achievement of BASS faculty. Ms. Safia Bano (Urdu), Mr. Abu Bakar (Islamiyat) and Mr. Hamza Khan (Pak.Studies) got this distinction to recognize their hardwork and commitment.
INTER SCHOOL GYMNASTIC CHAMPIONSHIP (NOV-22)
BASS Gymnastic Teams of OL and MC participated in Inter School Gymnastics Championship – 22 on 26th Nov, 22. OL Girls Team and OL Boys Team won 1st Position in U-12 category and MC Boys Team won 2nd Position in U-15 category.
A2Z CHAMPS ART COMPETITION (SEASON-2) (OCT-22)
A2Z Champs Art Competition 2022(Season-2) was held in the month of October, 2022. The theme of competition was “My favourite Sports”. Our talented student, Sabrina Zehra of OL VII B, participated and secured the 1st prize of Rs 50,000 at National level in this competition. We are proud of her hard work, talent and outstanding performance.
A2Z CHAMPS
The winners of A2Z Champs Contest for Art and Creative Writing-2021, (season 2) have brought great laurels and pride to our prestigious institution. BASSians have proved their extra ordinary skills once again and got 3 Gold, 5 Silver and 9 Bronze medals in this contest. Moreover, an outstanding performance has been shown by one of our shining stars Muhammad Saad Khan of class OL-V (1st position) who received a special cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- for producing an amazing creative writing on the given topic “The Birds”.
CAIE RESULT
26th October, 2021 brought pride and success to BASS in the form of outstanding result of CAIE exams, 2021. Teachers’ unwavering loyalty and sincerity towards their students made this challenging task achievable and BASSians performed exceptionally well in CAIE by securing 34% A*, 30% A and 21% B grades. Appearing teachers including Ms. hira Farman, Ms. Shazia Aziz and Ms. Safia Bano who qualified for SA3 produced excellent result in CAIE session (2020-2021). Syeda Zoha Batool, Eisha Shahid, and Hania Rizwan of Snr OL-III got 8A*s.
INTER SCHOOL & MADARIS NAAT COMPETITION (APR-22)
A heart touching Inter School Naat Competition was organized on Wednesday, 13th Apr, 2022 by All Private Schools Management Association Sindh in collaboration with Pakistan Rangers, Sindh at Karachi University Auditorium. Among students of about 60 different schools, our BASSian, Naima Azam of Snr OL I, showed her excellent talent and secured 1st position along with a winner shield
Inter-School Declamation Contest – Shaheen Public School-2019
BASSians of O Level participated in an Urdu & English Declamation Contest held at Shaheen Public School and Kissa Batool and Jamaima Khan got first and Alaina Faisal got second position among many participants.
Inter-School Declamation Contest – Chiniot Islamia Public School-2019
BASSians of O Level Campus participated in another Urdu & English Declamation Contest held at Chiniot Islamia Public School, Airaz Khan & Aliana Faisal of class Snr OL I got 1st and 2nd position respectively in Urdu and English Declamation Contest along with the winning trophy for BASS OL Campus.
GO-MUNICATE 2018
Beacon Askari O level School sent its gems to participate in Go-Municate 2018 held at the City School (TCS) on 26th and 27th January 2018. The Go-Municate offered different categories that included Sci-Biz (Science and Business studies Quiz), Art Attack (Sketching & Painting), Rockin’ Round-UP (Music), Now Showin (cinematography), and Speak A thought (English and Urdu declamation). Almost thirteen distinguished schools of Karachi including 10 campuses of The City School took part in this healthy competition. The Result day marked a great history for Beacon Askari O Level School by bagging positions in every category our young BASSians participated in. It was a proud moment and treasured achievement undoubtedly.
CAIE RESULT 2017-18
BASS has produced commendable result in Cambridge Assessment International Education in all the appearing subjects with the distinctive performance in Urdu. Our students have performed well by achieving 27 A*, 136 A and 142 B grades.
