URDU SPEECH & NATIONAL SONG COMPETITION (SEP-23)
A very competitive, interesting and challenging Urdu Speech and National Song Competition was held at Al-Kauthar University on 5th Sep, 23. 3 BASSians secured 1st position in different categories and brought laurels to the school by bringing individual trophies as well as the school trophy among 21 schools.
SSC-I RESULT, 2021
BASSians of MC brought great laurels to the school and their families by securing excellent results in SSC-I, 2021 in which the highest percentage (98.7%) was of Usman Shafiq, Arina Saeed, Jahira Junaid and Yousuf, 88 students out of 105 secured A-1 grades and qualified to receive BASS scholarship. No one can deny the hard work put in by the teachers. Our distinguished teachers Mr. Arsalan, Ms. Mona, Ms Nadia and Ms. Fariha qualified for prestigious Special Academic Achievement (SA3) award whereas Mr. Nabeel, Mr. Atiq and Mr. Abdul Basit qualified to get cash awards.
SA3 FOR SSC - ll RESULT
BASSians of MC brought great name to the school by securing excellent result in SSC-II, 2021 in which the highest percentage was of M. Huzaifa Baig (98.2%). 100 out of 130 students secured A-1 and A grades. No one can deny the hard work put in by the teachers to maintain this culture of excellence. Our teachers also qualified for SA3 (Special Academic Achievement Award) for maintaining 88% subject average in Physics.
KASHMIR DAY SPEECH CONTEST
A speech competition was organized on the occasion of Kashmir Day by All Private Schools Management Association Sindh (APSMA) on 4th Feb, 2021 at APSMA Secretariat.
Samra Ali Meer of class X-D (Main Campus) participated and secured 2nd position among 30 schools. BASS Management extends heartiest congratulations to Samra Ali Meer, her parents and teacher incharge Ms. Shazia Masood on this great achievement.
Website Development Competition (Aptech learning center)
Beacon Askari Secondary School (Main Campus) participated in “TECH CHAMP” inter school website development competition organized by APTECH LEARNING CENTER. BASSians stood out of the cluster and secured 2nd position among 25 schools. Winning team along with Teacher Incharge Mr. Arsalan were awarded with shields, certificates and cash prize. A special shield has also been awarded to Beacon Askari Secondary School (MC) on this outstanding performance.
All Karachi Gymnastic Championship-2019
BASS focuses a lot on physical development of the students and adopts every measure to make them robust and excel in all aspects of their life. Our energetic and vigorous BASSain gymnastic team participated in Second DCTO Inter School Gymnastic Championship 2019 and won third position while competing against 10 schools. All the students were awarded with bronze medal.
Great Victory (1st Position in Taekwondo Championship)-2019
BASS focuses a lot on physical development of BASSians and adopts every measure to make them robust and excel in all aspects of their lives. Our energetic and vigorous BASSian participated in Pakistan’s Nation Taekwondo Championship, held on Saturday, 21st September 2019 at NED University Gymnasium, competing 20 schools and secured 1st position. while competing against 20 schools. BASS team got a trophy along with certificates and medals.
Our Commendable Performance in SSC-II (2018-19)
Our talented BASSians have proved their mettle in SSC-II Examination while achieving outstanding grades. 84 students appeared, 65 secured A-1 grade and 14 got A-grade. The highest were marks achieved by Seerat Jamal (781/850) 92%. 23 students secured 85% and above and qualified for BASS Gold Medal as per BASS policy.
GO-MUNICATE 2018
Beacon Askari O level School sent its gems to participate in Go-Municate 2018 held at the City School (TCS) on 26th and 27th January 2018. The Go-Municate offered different categories that included Sci-Biz (Science and Business studies Quiz), Art Attack (Sketching & Painting), Rockin’ Round-UP (Music), Now Showin (cinematography), and Speak A thought (English and Urdu declamation). Almost thirteen distinguished schools of Karachi including 10 campuses of The City School took part in this healthy competition. The Result day marked a great history for Beacon Askari O Level School by bagging positions in every category our young BASSians participated in. It was a proud moment and treasured achievement undoubtedly.
BASS is among top 14 schools nationwide in IKLC-2018
Beacon Askari School has made remarkable achievement in IKLC -2018. Kangorurou Sans Forntieres and Innovative Learning (KSF-Pakistan) short listed top 14 schools at country level and Alhumdulillah BASS has been ranked 12th among them. Mrs. Samar Raza (VP) has been awarded with “Marked Twain Educationist Award 2018” shield and gold medal and a silver medal have been given to Ms. Qadsia Muzammil (HM Jr.) for the earnest and laudable contribution and services for the BASSians’ outstanding performance.
International Kangaroo Linguistic Contest IKLC 2018
Kangourou Sans Forntieres and Innovative Learning (KSF-Pakistan) provide opportunities to school children for making efforts to work on refining their English skills. BASSains brought laurels to the school while securing 25 medals in IKLC-2018. 3 students got gold medals, 2 students got silver medal and 20 students got bronze medal along with some gifts. 48 students received 3 Star badges, 128 students got 2 Star badges, 67 students got 1 Star badges and 95 students got special ball points form IKLC organization. All the teachers and management who provided their support and prepared the students for this competition got acknowledged with cash prize by the management of BASS
Outstanding Achievement in Computer Studies – 2018
Miss Hina Gulzar has set a new record nationwide while producing 97% subject average (Computer Studies) in SSC I Examination 2018. 45 Students appeared and 21 got 100/100 marks. She has been awarded with SA3 (Special Academic Achievement Award) Shield and cash acknowledgement for the complete session.
Excellent Academic Achievement in SSC-I Examination 2017-18
In SSC Part-I Annual Examination 2018 BASSians of Main Campus have achieved excellent result announced by (BSEK) on 20th November, 2018. 85 students appeared and 84 students achieved A-1 & A grades. Whereby 41 Students obtained 85% and above. The highest marks/percentage is (389/425) i.e. 91.5% achieved by Ameen Ahmed Ansari S/O Ayaz Ahmed Ansari.
Academic Excellence Award -2017
All private schools Management Association arranged a high-profile acknowledgement ceremony at Pearl continental (PC) in which Minister of Education, Mr. Mehtab Dehar as a chief guest awarded “Academic Excellence Award’’ to Director BASS Brig. (R) Dilshad Hussain Malik for an outstanding academic result in SSC-I annual examination 2017 produced by the students of Main Campus.
Excellent Achievement in AFAQ Innovation Stars Contest-2016
BASSians participated in Science and Arts Exhibition held at Karachi University on 6th and 7th Dec, 2016 by AFAQ under the title of “AFAQ Innovation Stars’’ Among 27 schools and colleges from Sindh, BASS(MC) got 1st Position and winning team was awarded with 15000/- cash and certificates.
