All Karachi Gymnastic Championship
BASS focuses a lot on physical development on the students and adapts every measure to make them robust and excel in all aspects of their life. Our energetic and vigorous BASSain gymnastic team participated in Second DCTO Inter School Gymnastic Championship 2019 and won third position competing against 10 schools. All the students were awarded with bronze medal.
Great Victory (1st Position in Taekwondo Championship)
BASS focuses a lot on physical development of BASSians and adopts every measure to make them robust and excel in all aspects of their lives. Our energetic and vigorous BASSian participated in Pakistan’s Nation Taekwondo Championship, (held on Saturday, 21st September 2019 at NED University Gymnasium) competing 20 schools and secured 1st position. BASS team got a trophy along with certificates and medals.
GO-MUNICATE 2018
Beacon Askari O level School sent its gems to participate in Go-Municate 2018 held at city school on 26th and 27th January 2018. The Go-Municate offered different categories that include Sci-Bzi (Science and Business std Quiz), Art Attack (Sketching & Painting), Rockin’ Round-UP (Music), Now Showin (cinematography), and Speak A thought (English and Urdu declamation). Almost thirteen distinguished schools of Karachi including 10 campuses of City School took part in this healthy completion. The Result day marked a great history for Beacon Askari O Level School by bagging positions in every category our young BASSians participated in. It was a proud moment and treasured achievement undoubtedly.
BASS is among top 14 schools nationwide in IKLC-18
Beacon Askari School has made remarkable achievement in IKLC -2018. international association Kangorurou Sans Forntieres and Innovative Learning (KSF-Pakistan) has short listed top 14 schools at country level and Alhumdulillah BASS has been ranked 12th among them. Mrs. Samar Raza (VP) has been awarded “Marked Twain Educationist Award 2018” shield and gold medal and a silver medal has been given to Ms. Qadsia Muzammil (HM Jr.) for the earnest and laudable contribution and services for the BASSians outstanding performance.
Academic Excellence Award - 2017
All private schools Management Association arranged a high-profile acknowledgement ceremony at Pearl continental (PC) in which Minister of Education, Mr. Mehtab Dehar as a chief guest awarded “Academic Excellence Award’’ to Director BASS Brig. (R) Dilshad Hussain Malik on producing an outstanding academic result in SSC-I annual examination 2017 by the student of Main Campus.
Excellent Achievement in AFAQ Innovation Stars Contest-2016
BASSians participated in Science and Exhibition held at Karachi University on 6th and 7th Dec, 2016 by AFAQ under the title of “AFAQ Innovation Stars’’ Among 27 schools and colleges from Sindh, BASS(MC) got 1st Position and winning team was awarded with 15000/- cash and certificates.
Roshan Pakistan Art Competition – 2016
BASSians proved excellence in all of competitions and this consummation had been proved while winning Roshan Pakistan Art Competition. It was organized by Sindh Literacy and Education Department and our Students Wania Fayyaz (Class VIII-A) and Arishba Saeed (Class VIII-A) got First and Second position at Malir district level respectively. Wania Fayyaz was acknowledged with a certificate and cash prize of Rs. 10,000 by Honorable Chief Ministor Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah at Karachi Arts Council. Both of the winners were acknowledged with a certificate and cash award of Rs. 5000 and Rs. 3000 from school management side as well.
Top Position in Business Studies 2013
BASS student Syed Waleed Ali s/o Syed Sajid Ali grabbed top position in Whole of Karachi in Business Studies (CAIE-2013). He has been awarded with certificate of “Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award Pakistan’’ by CAIE and real Gold Medal by BASS Management.
