In our BASS Family (students and parents), there are few who difficulty in this era of high inflation to buy new books for their ward(s) in beginning of new academic session with other educational expenses such as to purchase notebooks/copies, school bags, uniform, shoes and etc. 3. This has been the BASS tradition that at the end of academic year, many students and parents willingly donate their course books (in usable condition) to Main Campus Library from where it is provided to all students who are in need of them. It is formally requested to all students’ parents of class I to VIII that when their wards get promoted to next class, they may kindly donate the course books to Library for their appropriate utilization. 4. Those parents who are interested to get old books (useable condition) for their ward(s), may kindly visit the respective campus and get their names registered with Librarian by Tuesday, 29th Jun, 2021 for timely receiving the course books. The objective of PTM is to critically review the academic performance of each student in view of new paper pattern, time management and paper composition set by Sindh government. This critical analysis will enable parents to identify the quantum of effort to be put in by their ward(s) before final exams. 1. As the session for Board classes is reaching to its end and BSEK may announce its plan for class IX exams in due to course of time. The Board has decided to take exam of only elective subjects i.e. Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Biology/Computer. These four papers will decide the overall result of class IX. There is a complete shift in paper pattern and time duration i.e. instead of 3 hours it will be of 2 hours. Similarly, paper composition is changed like MCQs (50%), short questions (30%) and long questions (20%) with no practicals. 2. With such drastic changes, there is a dire need to run special classes to fully prepare students in line with new changes. Teachers have prepared solid revision plan therefore, BASS will be conducting its regular classes for IX as per schedule given below:- a. Regular classes for IX from 18th Jun–30th Jun, 2021 (group wise) from 08:00 am – 12:00 noon. (1) Group A : Mon, Wed, Fri (2) Group B : Tue, Thu, Sat b. Last paper of elective subject is on 17th Jun, 2021. c. No paper for compulsory subjects will be conducted as announced by BSEK. d. PTM (Prelium–II exams) will be held on 26th Jun, 2021. 3.
