Subject: – ADMINISTRATION OF POLIO & VIT-A VACCINATION-MANDATORY ACTIVITY.
With reference to our Circular No. 21/23-24 dated; 25 th Sep, 2023.
1. It is to inform our worthy Parents that as per directive of the Ministry of Health & Distric
Emergency
Operation Center (DEOC), the Polio Campaign has been scheduled to vaccinate all the children under 5
years’ of age without parental consent in accordance with Government policy. This includes ensuring
that all students are vaccinated on Tuesday, 3 rd Oct, 2023.
2. However, if a student requires exemption from receiving the polio vaccine, then parents must
provide an exemption letter from the relevant Assistant Commissioner prior to administration of
vaccination.
