Circular No. BASS-78/17-18                                                                               Date: 26th May, 2018

Dear Parents/Guardians, (Assalam-o-Alaikum)

Subject:- Summer Vacation (Monday, 21st May to Sunday, 22nd July, 2018)

  1. Yet another academic year has completed to make plan for the long awaited summer holidays. BASS will remain closed from Monday, 21st May to Sunday, 22nd July, 2018 due to summer vacation. The school will reopen on Monday, 23rd July, 2018.
    (Insha Allah).
  2. We all know that it is the good time for all the students to visit different places, play games and read interesting books. However, we must not forget that it is also an ideal time to pursue our creative impulses, complete unfinished tasks and work on the need based areas. This holidays’ homework is not given to ensure that you always remain enslaved by books but to help you to make the most of your precious time to enjoy and have fun and study as well.
  3. Although the homework has been planned specifically to be done by the children, but parental supervision is required in some areas e.g. providing them with books, stationery and monitoring them to follow home study timetable regularly. This summer vacation work assigned must be done in fair copies of new session and for each subject, there are 10 marks which will be added in the result of 1st C.A in shape of % subject wise.
  4. Summer vacation is the best opportunity to develop very strong bond of love and affection with your children. These tips will not only make your children more acquiescent but also ensure that you will get heard and obeyed by them.

a. Share with them their boundaries and acceptable behaviors with reference to Holy Quran and Hadith.

b. Encourage your ward to purchase at least 2-3 books in a month and maintain a personal library at home.

c. Always be conscious about the eating habits of your ward and encourage them to have healthy food at home insteadofjunk food.

d. Encourage your ward to offer five time prayers.

e. Put yourself into their age bracket before expecting a lot from young fellows.

f. Don’t just criticize but make them aware of the wrong impact of any action and behavior may generate on their   personality and future.

g. Give them small incentive on cleaning room, organizing things and managing behavior and habits etc.

h. Don’t give them chance to argue on routine matters e.g. watching T.V and playing etc. and put up yourself a role    model before them.

i. Try to take out time and listen to them attentively, it gives them feeling of being listened and may help them resolve   their problems.

j. Do plan one or two excursions to feel fresh and break routine monotony.

k. Give a lot of “praise” for little things

5. It is my humble privilege to also congratulate you on the auspicious eve of Ramdan-ul-Mubarak and Eid-ul-Fitr. May Allahshower His countless blessings upon us and accept our all good deeds, Aameen.

With Kind Regards,

(Syed Junaid Ali)
